Today the group had a free day. So we split into smaller groups to explore:
Bob, Mary Ellen, Joy & Alison rode the train to the mountain monastery of Montserrat for the day.
Mr. Bittle took all the students, plus Lezle & Shannon, to Gaudi's Park Guell, them down to the waterfront. In the afternoon they split-up: some went shopping & exploring the Gothic Quarter, others rented bikes & rode along the seafront & had lunch at the beach.
A great day for all.
We "rendezvoused" for dinner in the market, then returned to our hotel to collect our bags & rode taxis to the station.
Our night train departed at 10:00pm for an overnight journey to Granada, arriving in time for breakfast.
NB: Due to the group being split-up today, there are no photos of group sightseeing. More tomorrow...
