Another rainy day in Spain unfortunately, & the coldest to date. But as today was a travel day we managed to avoid most of the rain as we drove from Granada to Sevilla, stopping along the way in the mountain town of Ronda, most famous of the Andalucian 'White Towns'.
Ronda is located atop a cliff, either side of a dramatic 450 foot gorge, with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside & a photogenic old Moorish quarter.
We stopped in Ronda for around 3 hours, enough time to explore the streets & square, visit the bullring if wished, & enjoy a quick or leisurely lunch.

| Despite the cold weather the orange trees were still brimming with fruit - evidence that it really isn't always this cold! |

We arrived in Sevilla late in the afternoon to find it suddenly in bright sunshine - despite all the forecasts to the contrary. So we enjoyed the warm & made a stop at Plaza d'Espana, the showcase public square of the 1929 exposition that Sevilla hosted.
Then we checked-in to our hotel before later riding the metro into the city center to go for dinner, walking via the famous ghiralda tower on our way.
Dinner tonight was in the excellent Restaurante del Alabardero. We enjoyed the creative & unusual items on the menu, though there were a few surprises!
